This drama is about the pediatric department and its doctors.

Park Shi Ohn (Joo Won) is recovering autistic patient, which he has had ever since he was a kid. But with the help of doctor whom he sees as his father, he was thought how to speak, converse and act. Due to his illness he has been bullied, teased and seen as a handicapped person, all that giving him low self-esteem and inferiority complex. Living with the trauma of the death of his brother and his father’s abusing him; he has built a wall in his memories and forgotten his parents completely.

When the doctor who helped him all his life happens to be the director of Sung Won University Hospital, he gets the chance to become a resident of the pediatric department, which of course doesn’t go well with most of the board of directors since he medically is seen as a handicapped individual. But when he by sheer coincident saves a child’s life, and it gets media attention, the board decides to give him a shot, of course if he makes mistakes or does anything to ruin the hospitals reputation both he and the director would leave the hospital..

First of the review is a bit dull, since I tried not to give much away, so it ended up being shitty, sorry. Second, this drama is so good it is not okay. I have watched a lot of dramas with pathetic or/and pitiful, but this guy seriously broke my heart. His story and everything about his life is so sad, I was rooting for him all the time. And I do admit, I kind of though Moon Chae Won was ok.. I don’t fully like her yet, but she is better than she was in Nice Guy.. Better acting and most defiantly a better character.. I love that the love story wasn’t the main focus, and that the patients’ stories were much more centered. It is heartbreaking and sad, yet it melts your heart. I never dream of dramas, I dreamt of this. For me that says a lot.

All in all very good!

Nice Guy Review

The young man Kang Maru (Song Joong Ki) has a somewhat great life with his girlfriend Han Jae Hee (Park Si Yeon), best friend Park Jae Gil (Lee Kwang Soo) and little sister Kang Choco (Lee Yoo Bi). Even though his little sister is sick and they have been living without their parents for a while, they still manage to lead a great life. Maru is known as the handsome smart guy, studying medicine, while Jae Hee is building her career up as a journalist. Things escalate quite quickly in the wrong direction as Maru receives an urgent phone call from Jae Hee, calling for his help. As he arrives to the hotel Jae Hee is at, he finds her sitting in a corner with a dead man on the floor. As the nice guy Maru is, he sacrifices himself for Jae Hee and her career and turns himself in as the murderer. Several years later Jae Hee is leading her life as the mistress of a CEO while Maru is finding his way around by taking advantage of rich women. Whole on his way back from Japan a situation arises in the airplane and a doctor is needed. As a last resort Maru is forced to help and there he is encountered with Jae Hee and another person, a person that will play a huge role in his life, the patient Seo Eun Gi (Moon Chae Won), the daughter of the CEO who married Jae Hee. Eun Gi and Maru meet several times and Maru slowly starts to turn into a not so nice guy.. or.. does he?..

First of all I want to say that the synopsis that was out on the internet when this drama started, is stupid and makes no sense! It’s as if somebody just knew a few details and just somehow connected it by themselves. They mention that Maru takes advantage of Eun Gi when she loses her memory.. ehmm no. Not in that order. And it actually ruined it a bit for me because I was kind of waiting for that memory loss but it happened later after Maru already began taking advantage of her and he even decided to stop and after that she lost her memory aso I shouldn’t spoil too much. This drama really had me from the start, I know I’ve got a thing for handsome guys and Joong ki is here but still. And I really enjoyed it and then again I had a really bad feeling all the time because of Maru, the character is just.. too much b***hit happening to that poor young man! Like how bad of a life can someone get? Also I don’t know it his character was even realistic, okay maybe it was, but there aren’t many of those people that are as smart and skilled as him, I mean medicine and business aren’t easy stuff. I liked it, I liked it a lot, and I even liked the ending. I think it had a great finish actually. But the last two episodes were quite empty, it felt like that. I havent watched Moon Chae Won act before but I think she did a really great job in this one. And Joong Ki of course too is a great actor. AND Lee Kwang soo, I forgot to comment on that. I was surprised, it was better than I thought it would be though I still saw him more as Kwang soo than Jae Gil hahah. Okay enough from me. It’s a great drama about revenge turning into romance, and about people changing, how much life sucks and how to enjoy it. Hahah. I recommend definitely if you’re into the genre.

Bunji's Verdict
Out of all the 2012 dramas, this one was the one I really wanted to watch, mainly because of Song Joong Ki honestly, but still. The idea, storyline, characters and the couples were good, and made with great care, so they didn’t seem to be random. Though I gotta say 20 episodes are too long, should have just ended at episode 16, because the last episodes were just unnecessary.  It ended up being too draggy and completely reparative. To be honest, the beginning was genius and very interesting, different than usual dramas, but somehow the amnesia part made it draggy and stuffy as hell. I loved Joong Ki’s acting, really had me on hooked, and Lee Kwang Soo was pretty neat, 100% seeing him as an actor now! Moon Chae Won’s acting was real good, but I just don’t like Chae Won, not really her fault though nor is it because of Joong Ki. She just annoys me for some odd reason I can’t put my finger on. One bad thing more, is that the character acted by Chae Won, Seo Eun Gi, annoyed me with her ‘revenge’. Like, no bases at all, actually her fault completely if you ask me, why blame others?!

On the other hand, the drama is interesting, heartbreaking and sad. It’s a perfect Lee Kyeong Hee drama, its unnecessarily heavy and just goes on and on in circles, without you being able to look away. I do recommend, though I personally wouldn’t watch it again, once is MORE than enough. Oh yeah, I didn’t get the ending, sort a ruined my ‘perfect ending’..

Mackerel Run Review

Cha Dong Chan (Lee Min Ho) loves soccer, except for that and fighting, he is bad at everything else. As he finally gets the chance to play, he ruins it because of his temper, and even though it’s not his fault, he’s blamed for it. The school he is part of is a prestigious school, also a corrupt school that favors rich kids over the poor. Dong Chan happens to be poor, so no matter what happens he’s blamed, well, the fact that he is bad student doesn’t really help him either.
After being kicked out of the soccer team and being mistreated by his homeroom teacher, he is told that its better he writes a resignation letter than being thrown out. As he hands in the letter, a new classmate joins, Min Yoon Seo (Moon Chae Won), the girl he fell in love with after she head butted him like his idol Zidane did in 2006. He decides to stay, but gets warned by the homeroom teacher, if he gets one more absent day, he’s out. By trying his best to not make any fuss, he un-deliberately gets in the middle of it.
When the soccer star Baek Hyun (Kwon Se In), who has a past with Yoon Seo, tries to win her back, Dong Chan is in crisis, also the hot-blooded class president Yoon Sae Mi (Jung Yoon Jo) seems to have found an love interest in Dong Chan, which Dong Chan can’t comprehend..

Aish, really disappointing.. I for the first time rooted for the supporting actress with all my might, and for some weird and silly reason he chooses the lead. Okay, I knew he liked her, but why on earth did the director focus so much time (7 episodes to be exact) showing how good the lead actress and the supporting actor are? What struck me, which I really still can’t find a meaning in, is when the hell did she fall for the lead actor? I really preferred the supporting actress, she had more character, and really liked her with the lead actor, why the director made more screen time for them, if they weren't going to end up together, simply can’t get into my brain.. Seriously..
It was so good, and then this happened.. tsk..

Lady Castle Review

The story revolves around two completely different people, Seo Dong Chan(Yoon Sang Hyun); a poor man and ex giggalo, who works three jobs in order to make a living. He lives with his aunt and childhood friend, Eun Jio(Moon Chae Won ), who secretly loves him. And Hae Na(Yoon Eun Hye); an international celebrity, who grew up with everything, getting everything she ever wanted. She lives with her granfather, and is EXREMELY spoilt: has never apoligized or used the words "thank you". She has a problem, by firering all her maids and butlers, if they do the smallest mistake.
The story takes a start, as she fires her last butler, and is taken to a marriage-proposal, where she acts up and leaves. At the same time, Dong Chan leaves the flower shop to do a delivery, where he ends up being hit by Hae Na. Dong Chan wants to hear an apology, whereas Hae Na wants to pay herself out of it, and get it overwith. It ends with Dong Chan taking it to court, and making Hae Na do 150 houres of community service.
The two bump heads again, where Hae Na wants to make Dong Chan pay, and alot happens, like Hae Na faking a kidnap, making Dong Chan being arrested. As Hae Na's garnfather finds out about these happenings, Hae Na tries to leave the country, but is stopped by Dong Chan, who fakes a kidnap, taking her home again. As she arrives home, confused, her granfather greets her, telling her that Ding Chan is hre new butler.

Fun, fun and extra fun! I really had fun in this one. Its "human/ordinary" fun, meaning none of those extreme with supernatural powers or supernatural wounds. I mean when the actors are good, anything MEANT to be funny, IS funny.. Lols, but really, I tend to laugh at bad acting, or stupid dialogs, but this is really good! Eun Hye is great a spoilt rich brat, suits her, and she looks amazing. Sang Hyun I've never seen before, and I was sceptical, concidering age difference, but he is ADORABLE!! iiih!! The other actors where passable (hihi).
The negative would be the focus. I mean the story is fun, and its good the first 12 episodes, but after that, it sort a looses focus. Too much confusion, and unnessecary scenes (Im not taking about the Hae Na & Dong Chan scenes, but the others). Its kind of sad, since I was hyper the first 12 eps, than the last 4 were not as interesting, but the 4 that were still on my mind as I recall the series..
