Here is Greenwood Review

Title: Here is Greenwood
AKA: Koko wa Greenwood
Genre: School, romance, comedy
Episodes: 13
Broadcast period: 2008-Jul to 2008-Sep
Cast: Izawa Yuki, Miura Riki, Sato Yuuichi and Suzuki Hiroki.

Hasukawa Kazuya (Izawa Yuki) is a freshman at the prestigious Ryokuto Academy. He joins the known dormitory Greenwood, in order to stay away from home, where his first love is married to his only relative, his older brother, as he is not able to bear seeing them together or tear them apart.
As he joins, he meets with two 2nd year seniors, Ikeda Mitsuru (Miura Riki) a cool guy who loves pranking people, and Tezuka Shinobu (Sato Yuuichi), Mitsuru’s roommate and a genius, who not only is calm, but loves to join Mitsuru. The two pull a prank on Kazuya, by telling him Kisaragi Shun (Suzuki Hiroki) his roommate, is actually a girl and that he has to help keep it hidden.
After arguments and a lot of fighting, the four become friends and help each other in diverse situations…

Even though the screenplay and the storyline are a bit too ‘newbie’, I have to admit, I liked it. It’s very sweet and has the ‘brother-love’ storyline, also made me read the manga. The reason I’m giving it 3 stars is basically because you are able to watch this drama with a smile, and honestly, it’s very ‘Japanese’, of course not as great as many others well directed ones, but it’s a ‘growth-drama’, meaning the lead starts at one point, and changes. A progress happens in mentality, which is rare for other dramas….

☆☆☆ / 3 out of 5 stars
