Since an extremely young age Gong Xi (Ivy Chen) has dedicated her life to her boyfriend Bu Puo Shang (Lee Dong Hae). All she wanted was to satisfy him and help him with everything. Bu Puo Shang left his family in order to pursue his dream of becoming an singer and Gong Xi followed him. Since then she had been like a maid for him. He would hide that they lived together and everyday he would care less about her and ignore her more and more. He started considering her less as a friend and only used her. One day Gong Xi witnesses Bu Puo Shang talk badly about her while with his manager and her whole world collapses. She vows revenge. She decides to take revenge by becoming even more successful than him. She somehow manages to join an agency where she starts her small but quickly recognizable career as an actress, where she also meets Dun He Lian (Choi Si Won). Dun He Lian is a famous actor who recognizes her potential and ends up somehow being friends with Gong Xi.

So why did I watch this drama? I don’t even remember, was is because of Si won? Probably.. There is one thing I really hated about this drama. So they dubbed Donghae and Siwon’s voices. Seriously I hate that so much! I get it they are famous so it means a whole lot when they shoot a drama and they get like extra lots of views and yeah even I watched it. But it’s just so bad. The drama itself was pretty alright even though the story is a bit weird. Like Gong Xi dedicated her life to taking care of Bu Puo Shang, ehmm..? What I really liked about it was the actor-stuff. They showed a side of acting we maybe don’t often consider. And it was pretty cool how they showed what it takes, that it takes talent and the talent was really visible. So I actually did enjoy it but at the same time I was thinking it’s a bit ridiculous but I guess I could bear it.

Bunji's verdict

I bet you saw my rating and thought “what a bad drama”, well it is not. At least not as bad as the idea you have it to be. It is okay honestly it just ends off and without a real ending. I at one point was very captivated by the story but it just bores you unless you are interested in showbiz. It had a lot of ‘manga moments’ as I would call them, but it did not flutter my heart as the moments usually do. Though one thing did happen though: I wanted to watch a Siwon and Dong Hae drama, due to their acting. Kind of made me interested.

So watch? If you have watched or read Skip Beat you  might be a bit disappointed, but if you are an E.L.F you might just love this.

Poseidon Review

Lee Soo Yun (Lee Si Young ) became a coast guard officer after her father goes missing, and dreams of finding out the truth of his dissapearence. Kim Sun Woo (Siwon) is MPCO in the Korean coast guard, after being degraded from the special force unit for an incident that lead to his co-workers death. Kwon Jung Ryul  (Lee Sung Jae) is a CO also of the KCG, he lost his wife in a similar case as the one of Sun Woo where the coworker had the same tattoo mark on her chest as his wife.  That tattoo is known to be from the infamous Choi Hun Goon, the leader of the black trade almost like a ghost. Everyone getting close to him ends up being murdered or disappears.

When Jung Ryul   fails a mission by mistaking a ship for CHG’s ship, he is called up by his boss, who tells him to make a team of police officers that are going to be under the section 9; unit for  unsolved cases. But in reality it’s a section for the search of CHG. The tomboyish and rude Soo Yun, and the Casanova and pretty face Sun Woo get to work together: even though they didn’t see eye to at first, they somehow evolve as partners…

Hmm, I usually like Korean police dramas, they somehow have intrigue and character, but this was just boring. I was yawning most of the time, and even the action, the corruption and the love story didn’t get my attention as it should have. I can’t really put my finger on the reason, but somehow it just became a bad drama. The lead actress was infuriating me, like if you can’t rely on someone else don’t talk big, seriously. And somehow Siwon wasn’t able to overcome his looks, somewhere in the drama I went, oh good acting, but suddenly he would change, and I would get annoyed. As I said the love story was way too shallow, they should have just left it as friends, like it felt like a teenage push and pull game, dumb really.

On the other hand, it has funny moments, where I laughed, Siwon is hot and the story somehow gets your attention, but you’ll lose it with ease, or I did anyways. So if you want light version of the police confusion, this is your pick.

Hyang Dan (Seo Ji Hye) has been working for Wol Mae and her daughter Chun Hyang ever since she took her in because her blind father could not take care of her. She sees it as her duty to satisfy them because she owes them so much. One day a young man named Lee Mong Ryong (Choi Si won) escapes from some soldiers into the house where Hyang Dan is. Instead of being scared she helps him, which gives him a good impression of her. And since then he has had a crush on her and wants to meet with her. But what she doesnt know is that he is the magistrate’s son and is meant to marry with Chun Hyang. Now how will they resolve this? Is it love or duty?

This short drama was not something big but more like well, a mini-drama. I didnt exactly love it i would just say that it was okay. It wasnt really that romantic, the plot was but it didnt really get through to me, nor the comedy, i dont think i even laughed once. Maybe i expected too much to begin with since its siwon i thought it would be woowww. but no. idea great but mission failed, in my opinion . period

Oh! My Lady Review

35-year-old Yoon Gae Hwa is working hard for her and her daughter to be able to live alone. She hasnt been lucky when it comes to getting a stable job. As she cant pay her rent she is forced to ask her ex-husband to take care of their daughter, Min Ji, for a while until she is able to earn enough money to support both of them. She finds a small place for her to stay and somehow manages to find a job as a housemaid. Later on she finds out she is Sung Min Woo (Siwon oppa) 's maid. And she absolutely HATES him. In her opinion he cant act nor sing and is only popular cause he's got the looks (Hmm!). As somehow she ends up working for a musical-company, she tells them she can get Sung min woo to be in one of their musicals. And if she does so, she will get promoted to a planning-manager. On her way up to sung min woo's apartment she meets this girl (sung min woo's daughter) which is 'sent' to sung min woo. She brings her along to sung min woo. He doesnt believe he got anything to do with the girl and somehow Yoon Gae Hwa ends up taking care of her, but she threatens min woo by saying if he doesnt wanna b in the musical she will tell everyone about the girl. Things get really complicated, the 3 of them end up living together and get closer aso.

Okay so as usual I watched this because of the guy, this time Siwon oppa ^^ . I thnk that,, if it wasnt for him i wouldnt even have watched the drama. Its my first Noona/ahjumma-Drama (younger guy falls in love with elder woman). At first i didnt even think about it, didnt even think things would turn out like this. I had never expected a noona-romance. And i think i still cant get over it,, i mean i understand people fall in love and all but its just a bit weird when a guy falls in love with an elder woman. She's like 35 and he still around 25-27 i dont remember how old exactly,, but still. I mean Gae Hwa too says in the drama "You are young and got your whole lifef in front of you and im just an old ex-married ahjumma.." and she actually convinced me, like its totally weird when a guy, today in our world, falls in love with an ahjumma. But anyway the drama was okay cute and had its funny moments and i of course enjoyed siwon oppa's acting. But i didnt like that it took him so long to admit that he likes her and when he did it was just like,, please be my daughters mother, as if it was just because of his daughter when he realized how much she means to him. It kinda didnt have the perfect ending i was waiting for. Now that i think about it, it wasnt all that great, maybe siwon oppa made me blind. hmm.. i mean watching it isnt waste of time its a great drama but it isnt anything near those 5star'ers..

Im really not sure about how much i should rate it,,
