Title: Kimi Ni Todoke
AKA: Reaching You
Genre: Romance, Friendship, School
Origin: Japanese
Release date: 2010-Sept-25
Cast: Miura Haruma and Tabe Mikako.
Kuronuma Sawako (Tabe Mikako) has been misunderstood her whole life; because she is shy and talks very slow, and ever since The Ring movie, she has been called ’Sadako’ (the ring girl). People avoid her, mean rumours arise around her, but Sawako is right the opposite. She is nice, friendly and thinks of others before herself. When she one day, the first day of high school, meets Kazehaya Shota (Miura Haruma), she is for the first time treated normally. Kazehaya becomes Mr. Popular, and Sawako’s admiration, but for some reason his way of acting towards Sawako is very different than with other people, which changes everything in Sawako’s life.
It’s good, the story, the actors and the characters, I just wish there would be more, I don’t know, skin ship? Lol, okay that sounded weird, but it felt kind of awkward, most of the scenes, and the ending was off, honestly, really abrupt. But that may have something to do with the manga not being done yet, so… If they made it as a drama, it would’ve been better :P
On the other hand, Haruma is more than PERFECT for this role, and I want Sawako to be my friend, like the nicest, most innocent person in the world. And this movie was one of the very few which gave me those goosebumps in the beginning, making me anxious to watch it. Oh well, you should watch it, it’s good! : )

14 Sai no Haha Review
Title: 14 Sai no Haha
AKA: 14-year-old Mother / Juyon-sai no Haha / Mother at Fourteen
Genre: Family
Episodes: 11
Broadcast period: 2006-Oct-11 to 2006-Dec-20
Cast: Shida Mirai, Tanaka Misako, Namase Katsuhisa, Miura Haruma, Muroi Shigeru, Yamaguchi Sayaka, Koumoto Yunichi, Kitamura Kazuki . . .
Miki Ichinose is just a 14 year old student who by "accident(they got no idea wht they r doing)" gets pregnant with a guy, Kirino Satoshi(Miura Haruma!!) from her cram school. She only realises when 2 months have passed and she hasnt had her period for a while. Then in order to find out whether she is pregnant or not, she steals a pregnancy test, cause she cant really buy it,, people would be thinking "Naani?".. So the test turns out positive and she hides it at her room. Then by accident her mother finds it while cleaning. She then confronts her and they talk about it. Miki's parents, especially her father, get really mad. And everybody are like naturally "quickly abort it then u can move on again". But Miki is actually thinking about giving birth. So when she tells her parents they immediately try to convince her to abort, they even go to the clinic and just when they are about to do it Miki runs away. Then she convinces her mother, tht she really wants to keep it. So her mother understands and supports her, later on her father too. But everybody around them their neighbors too are like looking really mean at them and never greet them and talk about them all the time. And not to mention that Kirino's mother is TOTALLY against it and she tries to "buy their silence" about her son being their father, but the media like found out so their company is totally screwed.. But Kirino actually wants to take responsibility and says he will start working. The little aka-chan (baby) is born early and Miki goes through a operation so she doesnt wake up until like a day later, they both fight for their lives and then survive and so on.
I had a really hard time getting through the first 5 episodes but after that it got really good and interesting. And of course i cant not mention Miura! Kyaaa! But here he's like soooo young. But maaain,, his acting skills are like REALLY good. And omg u see Miki has a little brother. And he like gets bullied at school because of her so then when Miki talks to him and she says like she's sorry and she didnt know that anyone would bully him then he is like "You should have it... the baby" .. Awww.. and then when people are like staring at her or something he just takes her hand and pulls her away.. and he is like what,, 10 ?.. aww.. really cute.. But anyway, the drama is like,, i dont knw how japan reacted on it, i mean. Its about japan being lousy at explaining,, what happens when, and how, u have sex.. And this whole thing about japanese people not really being helpful but omg.. When she like falls down because of pain.. people just like walk by and those who do stop they just stare!! aaargh!! whattaaa.. I mean of course not all japanese are like that but the majority i guess. So its like a drama about how things like these are received in the japanese community. But. the drama ,, for me. It wasnt one of those wooow, the ones u just gotta watch. But for its genre its great, really. so the rate is just like.. what i felt watching it and not a,, objective rate..?..

Bunji's Verdict
Putting the fact aside that the "lovemaking scene" was weird, the love story was pretty adorable. Okay, yeah, she is 14, and he 15, but when I was that age I thought I was insanely mature, so.. The story line was good as well, pretty typical in the Japanese environment, and the bulling from neighbours as well as fellow students is reasonable too.
Jenji is a bit sensitive, like she wouldn’t help a person on the ground in pain, unless she has been standing there for around 15 min, but she hates other people doing the same.. Oh well. I prefer Haruma's acting in this drama, also the father of the girl, Namase Katsuhisa, awesome and believable. It's a Renzoku (human drama), so it's not my turf, but it's a good watch.. Seriously..

While the first season was about terrorists wanting to spread a deadly virus this is 2 years later about terrorists trying to get this huge bomb which could destroy not only Japan but all the countries around as well. While tird-I and the terrorists try to get hold of the bomb Fujimaru goes through a lot himself. He got a new job at a job and has quit having anything to do with computers, or so he claims... Later on something happens at work and he is back to the hard life where he is resposible for so many peoples lives. He loses a lot of importent people in his life. Along with his friend Otoya he tries to find a way to prevent the terrorists from carrying out their plan even though it is hard enough to know who they can trust. Many of people are suspected of betraying and people whom they thought they could trust are betraying them.
For me this was way over what I expected. I thought it wouldnt be able to be as good as I wanted it to but it was way better. Ofcourse im a fan of Miura's acting so. And the action is .. uff.. and there are so many things happening which you wouldnt even expect. I can not imagine it being any better than this. And having to wait a week for every single episode made it even worse! I was going crazy! And why did it have to end at ep 9?! Im definetely expecting a season 3! It just cannot end like this! LoL fangirl gone mad, haha. And with 3 veeery handsome boys in it,, gyaabooo. I was so impressed by Otoya (Sato Takeru) in the drama. He was soo cooooool. He was holding this lecture/presentation at his university and my jaw just dropped . Like he was talking a whole other language,, i mean he was (japanese) but ,, smart japanese. And J! Narimiya Hiroki, he dyeed his hair blond, or white. Ahh.. he was so cute,, and evil. But more cute than evil. hehehe.
You MUST watch this ! But first if you havent watched season 1 WATCH IT!! You gonna miss something amazing if you dont. + a few handsome boys :D

And if Bunji gives below,, let me tell ya something,, she is VERY picky. You gotta watch this.
Bunji's verdict
Well, first off, gotta say, the first season was fenomenal, so picking up from there is hard enough. Eventhough I liked the involvement of Haruka, the little sister, and his best friend Ooyata, I gotta say, it didnt quite reach my expectations. I did find the thought behind the story awsome, and the seriousness was waaay better in the second season, in the end there were several bad things about it. Acting-wise, it was awsome, but I found the storyline a bit dull. I mean, there were no real enemies. I mean, yeah some strange talking terrorists, and some weird hacker, that seems to be better than Falcon, but it wasnt quite there. J was there too, blond, making him more nuts-looking than usual, but his role was too boring this time around. Missed the insane feeling of terror, when he was around.
On the other note, the actors couldnt be better, and who doesnt love a cute hacker, adorable Nuclear physics student and a hot terrorist? Lols, but yeah, if you liked season one, and wondered what has happend to our beloved Falcon, you should watch it. Yes you are going to be on egde all the time, so be careful in watching it in one go, but dont expect it to be like season one.

Samurai High School Review
Titel: Samurai High SchoolGenre: Comedy
Episodes: 9
Broadcast period: 2009-Oct-17 to 2009-Dec-12
Broadcast period: 2009-Oct-17 to 2009-Dec-12
Theme song: "Kodoku no taiyou" by Monobright
Cast: Miura Haruma, Shirota Yu, Anne, Kobayashi Ryoko, Sakurada Dori, Yanagishita Tomo, Ichikawa Mikako, Matsuda Saki, Muro Tsuyoshi, Kobayashi Masahiro, Kaneda Akio, Muroi Shigeru and so on.
The drama is about Mochizuki Kotaro (Miura Haruma), a senior high schooler. One day he is recommended an ancient book about a heroic samurai from the Sengoku period 400 years ago. Kotaro notices that he has the same name and age as the samurai described in the book. And since then, everytime Kotaro is in some sort of danger, he gets possessed by the spirit of the samurai and can only return to his real self when he gets near girls.
Kotaro is a guy you can't take seriously and he doesnt has any goal in his life. He isn't good at school and is a coward. But he is a moodmaker and cares alot about friendship. The samurai is quite the opposite of Kotaro. He is all about moral, strenght ethics.
But still both Kotaro and the samurai learn about the battles of the world from each other.
While watching the drama I was so fascinated by Miura Haruma's acting. He is acting both Kotaro and the samurai. And those are to very different personalities. To be able to work like that is really amazing. It is a great plus that his acting is so reliable. He is the perfect actor for this role. It truly showed his potentials. And because of the drama I think that samurais aren't just cool, they are awesome! While watching the drama, you'll laugh so many times because of the small, but funny details.
This drama is a must if you like comedy, Japanese history and ofcourse Miura Haruma.

Bunji's verdict
The drama was fun and had a interesting plot. Miura Haruma as the lead made the drama superb, and extremely funny (I love his facial expressions). From his first role that Ive watched (14 sai no Haha) to Samurai High School, I really see and feel the change, simply outstanding. Shirota Yuu was also amazing to watch, since I only remember him as hardcore fighter Shinjo from Rookies. His akwardness and shyness surprised me, and Id go" why doesnt he fight back?" then Ill remember its not the same drama(hah, atashi no baka :P). The female cast were a little dull, didnt give me anything memorable, and they really didnt do any impact in the drama (if you ask me). All in all, fun and sometimes little ridiculus, but definetly a good passtime drama :P
